Where: Peace Arch Park
When: Saturday August 29, 2026 from 1000am to 1200 noon.
Each year Canadian and US HAMS meet up at the Peach Arch State Park to meet one another, share contact information and to just have a good time.
If you’re coning from Canada, follow Hwy 99 toward the Peace Arch. As you approach the Duty Free there is a traffic light at Beach Rd. Turn right there. Drive past the Duty Free lot until you come to what looks like a back alley. Follow that to the Canadian parking lot. After you park, follow the path next to the road toward the Peace Arch. You’ll pass a couple building on your right before you come to a crosswalk where you can cross the lanes of traffic heading to the US and Canadian customs. We’ll be in the vicinity of the trees where you see the X.
If you’re coming from the US follow the I5 to exit 276. Follow the exit to the round-about and continue north on 2nd Street to the US parking lot. I’m told this lot is in a State Park and requires a park pass or a day pass. There is free parking on neighborhood streets outside the park gate Follow the walking trail at the north west corner past the bathrooms next to the freeway. Keep walking north and you’ll run into the group of HAMS.
Please bring some sort of identification with you in case you are contacted by Border Patrol/Customs. **A passport is not required, but recommended. Both Canadian and US law enforcement is aware that our group will be in the park.
