Vancouver Sun Run
The Burnaby Amateur Radio Club, along with other radio clubs in the area, assist by providing radio communications to officials during the run and alerting medical personnel if aid is needed during the 10km course.
This year the Sun Run was on Sunday, April 20th, 2008
A Record 54,317 Signed Up for The 2007 Vancouver Sun Run. Canada's largest 10K road race just got larger as a record 54,317 registered to make up the 23rd edition of the Vancouver Sun Run presented by HSBC Canada. It was a triumphant celebration of health, fitness and community spirit as the 2006 record of 50,746 registrants was smashed.
