On Sunday June 20th, the Burnaby Amateur Radio Club, its members, and other amateur radio operators generously volunteered for the 2010 Father's Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer. This is the eighth year that the Burnaby club has provided assistance with radio communications for this event through the use of the repeater system and coordinating volunteer operators.

This year 921 registered participants and over 500 spectators raised more than $180,000. Well done!!
