Burnaby Amateur Radio Club VE7BAR

The dates for the Celebration of Light have been announced, the dates are July 21, 24, 28 and 31. This event draws about 1 ½ million people to it over the 4 nights and is a major activity for us. We will require between 50 and 60 operators on the beach each night.

If you are available please contact jforsyth@vectorradio.ca. If you have participated in the past and have a favourite location, please put that into the email and we will try and secure it for you. This event really does make amateur radio shine, our involvement exposes Amateur Radio to a lot of the same people that we would be working with in an activation and allows our skills to be exposed to them.
